European Standart ChampionshipDear Partners,
On May, 21 st, 2005 the Ledovy Sports Palace, Saint-Petersburg, hosts the amateur European Standart Championship (European program).
Within the limits of the championship the International Standart Championship tournament (the European and Latin American programs) The Governor Cup – 2005 is held on May, 21-22st, 2005 and it includes The Cup of Federal Districts of Russian Federation.
Such competitions are hold for the first time and it becomes significant event in city life.
Leading dancing couples from more than 30 European countries, the best dancing couples of Russia and St.-Petersburg will take part in competitions.
Championship and the Governor Cup take place at official support of Administration of St.-Petersburg, Committee on physical training and sports, Committee of press and interaction from mass-media of St.-Petersburg.
The purpose of the given competitions is to assist in strengthening peace, friendship and the consent between people, to prevent social, national, religious conflicts.
The central and local radio stations, telechannels, printed editions, means of the outdoor advertising and the Internet are involved in illumination of actions.
Within the limits of the given championship the travel company "Tais" carries out booking hotels and accommodation of participants of the championship in hotels "Pribaltiyskaya", "Kareliya" and "Moscow".
